1. About us

The Aeli service (app and website) is referred to as "we" or "us". You can contact us at support@getaeli.pro.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, starting a subscription or continuing to use Aeli, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. What Aeli is

Aeli is a documentation tool for practising psychologists and therapists. The app records a session, transcribes it and uses AI to draft a report in the template you choose.

Aeli is for adult professionals (18+) using it in the course of their practice. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all activity under it.

4. Your professional responsibility

• Aeli assists with documentation. It does not diagnose, give clinical advice or replace your professional judgement, and it is not a medical device.
• Reports are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. Review every report before you rely on it — you remain responsible for your final records.
• Before recording a session you must obtain your client's informed consent to recording and data processing, and comply with the laws and professional ethics rules of your jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Aeli for any unlawful purpose or record anyone without their consent;
• infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or data, or interfere with the service's security or operation;
• copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app;
• use the service for fraud, spam or distributing malicious code.

6. Subscription, free trial and payment

• New users get a 7-day free trial with no card required, so you can try every feature before paying.
• After the trial, access requires a paid monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown on the Pricing page; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your country.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Website purchases are processed by Paddle and governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you subscribe in the app through Google Play, Google Play's terms apply.
• We may change prices. A new price applies from your next billing period, and we will notify you in advance.
• Fair use. Your subscription includes unlimited sessions within the normal use of an individual practice — up to 150 sessions per month. If usage substantially exceeds this or suggests automated use or one account being shared by several people, we will contact you to agree suitable terms and may temporarily limit processing of new sessions until the end of the billing period.

8. Your data and content

You own your recordings, transcripts, reports, client records and templates. You grant us a limited right to process them solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data or use it to train our own AI models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Intellectual property

The app, website, design, text, built-in templates and the Aeli name belong to us. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while it is active.

10. Availability

We work to keep Aeli reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates or third-party outages, and features may change over time.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, loss of data, or the consequences of decisions made on the basis of reports. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or the law, giving notice where reasonably possible.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except where mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
